On May 5, 2022, Angel Hawk had the honor and privilege to fly at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado, in support of the 11th annual STEM Day event. The featured events included the ultimate egg drop and the robotic first pitch competition. STEM or science, technology, engineering, and math students competed in this annual event hosted by Steve Spangler, dubbed America’s Science Teacher.
Authorization to fly drones at Coors Field is extremely limited. Major League Baseball (MLB) officials closely tracked takeoffs locations, duration of flights, and landing times. With multiple drones flying simultaneously, Angel Hawk partnered with Juniper Unmanned to deconflict airspace during the event.
Angel Hawk is proud to participate in these events to encourage, educate, and inspire young students interested in the drone industry. More details at Angel Hawk.
