Company Updates

This past week was Week 1 of the 2023 football season. This season is FlyRoute's 7th season providing drone film for high school football programs. This is our first year providing drone film outside of the state of Colorado -- thank you to Bill, John, and Jeremy for supporting our brand new Tennessee and Pennsylvania teams!

Week 1 we supported 37 high school football games with drone film. Thank you to all of our exceptional pilots for enduring the rainstorms this past Friday.

Pictured left to right: Ryan Carr (Lead Pilot), Michael Buchkoski (VP, Ops), Mike Rodriguez (CO Pilot) -- Michael B to Mike R, "Here is the total cost of the issued drone equipment, so don't go running into any goal posts now!"

Shoutout to CO Pilot Mike Pippins. From Regis HS: "He did an excellent job filming for us and helping connect up to our Hudl sideline kit. In addition to that there was a problem with the film being out of order and on Sunday morning he worked through it, and fixed the issue. Please pass my thanks on to him."

Drone Pilot Spotlight: Keson Drayton

Keson has been an exceptional pilot for FlyRoute since 2021, and this year, has achieved the status of "Senior Pilot" as he rejoins us for his third consecutive season. Keson has been a dedicated pilot for Bear Creek HS, Heritage HS, and Cherokee Trail HS. Enjoy our interview below.

You are one of the few pilot's that has achieved FULL TIME drone pilot status - amazing! What would you recommend to another pilot looking to do the same?

My advice to an aspiring full-time drone pilot would be: deeply master your craft and maintain unwavering passion. In the face of challenges, when quitting seems tempting, your fervor to become a professional drone pilot will fuel your journey. Embrace failure, as it's the catalyst for growth. Remember the three P's: Patience, Persistence, Perseverance.

Among many other things, you are Head Instructor for US Drone Soccer. What is US Drone Soccer's mission?

According to US Drone Soccer: The mission of U.S. Drone Soccer is to make aerospace education accessible for all students

You have a really great drone pilot merchandise brand. Where can pilots go to purchase your merch?
